Over the weekend and into next week many areas will be mainly dry and rather cold, Eastern and Southern areas will see temperatures average to above average at times with some lovely early spring sunshine, Sunday in particular will be a dry day with prolonged periods of sunshine. We can thank high pressure for these settled conditions, which during the night time will bring some sharp frost to many areas. Later on into next week it's possible we may pick up an Atlantic influence which will bring some strong winds and heavy rain to Western areas especially.
